Auch wenn (oder gerade weil) man inhaltlich nach wie vor quantitativ hinter der Konkurrenz her hinkt, wird Apple nicht müde, stetig neue Inhalte für seinen Streamingdienst Apple TV+ zu ergänzen. Auch der Bereich der Dokumentationen wird dabei kräftig ausgebaut. So hatte man bereits vor einiger Zeit eine Dokumentation über die World Surf League angekündigt, in der in sechs Folgen ein Blick hinter die Kulissen der Tour der besten Surferinnen und Surfer der Welt auf ihrem Weg zum 2021er Titel in der World Surf League geworfen wird. Den Anfang macht dabei der Tour-Auftakt auf Hawaii. Weitere Inhalte werden im Laufe des Jahres im kalifornischen Santa Cruz, im australischen New South Wales, in Papara auf Tahiti, im marokkanischen Taghazout Bay, auf Bali, Tuamotus, in Israel und an vielen weiteren Orten gedreht. Für die Produktion tut sich Apple mit Box Films und der World Surf League zusammen.

Den Start der Doku mit dem Titel "Make or Break" hat Apple inzwischen auf den 29. April thematisiert und nun auch den ersten Trailer veröffentlicht.
