Apple beteiligt sich an humanitärer Hilfe in der Ukraine

Der Einmarsch Russlands in die Ukraine hält derzeit die Welt in Atem. Zum ersten Mal seit vielen, vielen Jahren herrscht damit wieder ein offener Krieg in Europa und auch Apple CEO Tim Cook zeigt sich auf Twitter besorgt ob der Entwicklungen im Osten des Kontinents und ruft dazu auf, die kriegerischen Handlungen umgehend einzustellen. Wie schon des Öfteren bei Krisensituationen in der Vergangenheit kündigte er zudem an, dass sein Unternehmen sich an humanitären Hilfen für die betroffene Bevölkerung beteiligen werde. Zwar betreibt Apple keine eigenen Ladengeschäfte in der Ukraine, arbeitet dort jedoch mit verschiedenen Fachhändlern zusammen. Zudem hat man erst zu Beginn des Monats ein eigenes Büro in Moskau eröffnet, was die Situation nicht gerade leichter macht.
