Amazon stellt neue Generationen des Echo Show 5 und Echo Show 8 vor

Erst Mitte vergangenen Monats hatte Amazon seinen neuen Echo Show 10 (€ 249,99 bei Amazon) Lautsprecher auch nach Deutschland gebracht. Nun legt man schon wieder nach und hat seine Alexa-Speaker Echo Show 5 und Echo Show 8 in einer überarbeiteteten Version veröffentlicht. Amazon zufolge verfügen die beiden Geräte nun über verbesserte Kameras und weitere kleine Überarbeitungen. Dies macht sich vor allem bei der größeren 8"-Variante bemerkbar, die nun ein 13 Megapixel Weitwinkelobjektiv enthält. Ähnlich wie auch bei Apples mit dem neuen iPad Pro vorgestellter Funktion "Center Stage" werden auch hier an einem Videocall teilnehmende Personen stets im Bild gehalten, auch wenn sie sich bewegen sollten. Wie gehabt enthalten die Geräte eine mechanische Kamertaabdeckung, falls man Bedenken hinsichtlich der Privatsphäre hat. Der Sound kommt aus zwei verbauten Stereolautsprechern.

Der Echo Show 5 kann ab sofort in den Farben Anthrazit, Weiß und Dunkelblau zum Preis von € 84,99 vorbestellt werden. Der Echo Show 8 steht in den Farben Anthrazit und Weiß zur Verfügung und kann ab sofort für € 129,99 vorbestellt werden. Die Auslieferung soll ab dem 09. Juni erfolgen.
